In the past users had to register and maintain a separate password to use the Academic Computing Facility. As of today we are now using the campus Active Directory for authentication.
This means that users no longer have to set up a specific password to use the ACF which should speed up the first day of class, and reduce the number of passwords people have to remember.

All workstations in the ACF are now equipped with Microsoft Office 2007 and the Adobe Design Standard CS3 Suite for Windows. Below are the titles from each package.

Painting will take place in the ACF starting next week (May 12-16). Some workstations may not be accessible (i.e., those close to the walls). Please see a lab attendant with any concerns.

The results of the Fall 2007 ACES Academic Computing Facility User Survey have been posted. User comments are also available.

ArcGIS has been upgraded to version 9.2 on all workstations in the Academic Computing Facility. Please contact a lab attendant for more information on software availability and upgrades.
