All workstations in the ACF are now equipped with Microsoft Office 2007 and the Adobe Design Standard CS3 Suite for Windows.  Below are the titles from each package.

Painting will take place in the ACF starting next week (May 12-16).  Some workstations may not be accessible (i.e., those close to the walls).  Please see a lab attendant with any concerns.

The results of the Fall 2007 ACES Academic Computing Facility User Survey have been posted. User comments are also available.

ArcGIS has been upgraded to version 9.2 on all workstations in the Academic Computing Facility.  Please contact a lab attendant for more information on software availability and upgrades.

Pidgin, a multi-protocol instant messaging client, has been added to the workstation image.  Pidgin supports a myriad of IM accounts, which can all be used at once.   Some of the more popular accounts Pidgin works with are AIM, MSN, Yahoo!, Google Talk, and MySpaceIM.  A complete list of compatible accounts can be found at http://www.pidgin.im/.

Unlike Trillian, you do not need to create a separate profile to use Pidgin.  Just enter the username/password for the client(s) you would like to use.  If you need any assistance, please contact a lab attendant.
